                                            Cricketer Omar Akmal was granted relief in the spot fixing case and his sentence was reduced from three years to one and a half years. Cricketer Omar Akmal will be eligible to play on August 19, 2021. In the beginning of Pakistan Super League in 2020, cricketer Omar Akmal had met suspicious people in 2 different incidents. But Omar Kamal did not inform the PCB Anti-Corruption Unit. For this reason, he was immediately suspended on February 20. After the League, Justice (retd) Fazal Miran Chauhan of the PCB Anti-Corruption Tribunal, while hearing the case, had sentenced him to one year and now it has been reduced to one and a half years.
